Who we are loving this summer

With scorching temperatures predicted this summer we owe it to the planet to be sustainable. But that doesn’t mean you need to stop looking good in the process. Below are some of the sustainable brands that we are loving at the moment.

Raw Elements

This is a great sustainability brand. They tick all the boxes: reef-safe, natural ingredients and cruelty. With all the safety precautions in place they are safe to use on infants! Protecting your face really can never start too early. They also do travel sized creams so perfect to take on your strict Ryanair flights.

Their products are mainly creams, suncreams and sprays. Products are roughly $20 or €18.53 for single items. Which is the perfect price for something that is sustainable and natural.

Alba Botanical

Alba Botanical are a brand with a great commitment to plant based ingredients and staying away from harmful substances like oxybenzone and octinoxate.

The products on offer are serums and creams for the face; hair products and sun protection.

The website is easy to navigate and you can search up your particular concern (for example combatting dry skin) and it will provide you with the products that they recommend.

The price range is around €15 to €40 for their bigger quantities.

Suntegrity

Another brilliant brand is Suntegrity. This brand was created after the owner lost their mum to skin cancer so the brand’s ethos is to create easy to wear and apply suncream. They also do a range of foundations with SPF included as well.

The brand also uses natural and safe ingredients which we love!

The price range is in the higher range with the foundation with SPF priced at $55 or €50.95 but their suncream is lower at $48 or $51.81.

Elate Cosmetics

Elate Cosmetics is a beauty brand that have products ranging from blushes to lip liners. They also do a line of sustainably made tools (make-up brushes) and refillable palettes.

The brand is a great advocate for waste reduction in the beauty industry with 697,000+ plastic packaging being saved by their recycling programme. They even plant a tree for every order, we love that!

Their products are also super affordable all being between $20-$30 or €18.52- €27.78.
